Product Anatomy
Shipboard and marine cables are engineered to be lightweight, compact, and exceptionally safe. They are constructed with tinned copper conductors for superior corrosion resistance in saline and humid environments. The insulation and sheathing typically use advanced Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) and fire-retardant compounds to enhance safety in enclosed spaces aboard vessels. Many designs also incorporate a metallic braid for electromagnetic screening, improved mechanical protection, and added mechanical strength.
